NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER 

We are looking for a New Business Development Manager to drive Veikkaus’ Digital Casino success. This role is particularly crucial as Veikkaus continues to accelerate the expansion of its Online Casino, Online Poker and Live Casino verticals. Your focus is to ensure we will bring Veikkaus customers the best gaming experience in the industry.

As a New Business Development Manager, you will be a vital contributor to the performance of our digital casino business. You will manage Online Casino commercial agreements, renewals, and new business initiatives. You will foster and manage our existing and new business-to-business relationships with casino content vendors. The New Business Development Manager position requires commercial knowledge and experience of online casinos, negotiations, and contract management. 

You will work internally and externally with several cross-functional teams to ensure we create the best customer experience possible. 

You will  

  • Manage negotiations and contracts to ensure favorable outcomes for Veikkaus 
  • Drive contracts and renewals through the procurement, legal and compliance processes overseeing execution 
  • Do relationship management to foster and manage strong relationships with content vendors  
  • Understand partnership requirements and collaborate internally and with the Regulator to meet with vendor expectations  
  • Conduct vendor review meetings to assess performance, address concerns and explore new opportunities 
  • Monitor competitors and market trends to ensure we remain ahead of the competition and that we have the best possible games to offer to our customers 
  • Maintain documentation on partnerships, ensuring a clear understanding of commercials and contract terms with each vendor 
  • In addition to your primary responsibilities, help your team members to achieve goals

Our ideal candidate will have: 

  • Experience in negotiations and contract management.
  • At least 2 years of experience in online casino or other online gaming roles. 
  • Good knowledge of gaming content providers, operators, and gaming generally. 
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability for goals and deliverables. 
  • High motivation and energy to deliver the best customer experience. 
  • A commercially focused and dynamic mindset. You are capable of working in a constantly changing environment. 
  • A can-do attitude with excellent communication skills. 
  • Capable of building strong business relationships across the business and externally. 
  • Good organizational and influencing skills. 
  • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
