Were now looking for an Accounting Specialist to support our growth and join our Finance team! Your main goal is to ensure the company's accounts are prepared in accordance with local laws and regulations. In addition, you will take accountability, that company's financial information is reported on a monthly basis to Nordhealth Group in accordance with instructions, structure and timetables set by Nordhealth Group finance.

Your key responsibilities include:
This role as an Accounting Specialist will be working in Nordhealths Finance team contributing to the following duties and responsibilities to be carried out by in efficient and timely manner for our three Norwegian subsidiaries:

General ledger and subledger management and reconciliations

Contract invoicing

Purchase invoice and T&E handling and payments

Preparation of monthly accounts in accordance with local accounting standards

Collaboration with external accounting firms in relation to statutory reporting, eg VAT and annual reports

Timely reporting to Nordhealth Group finance on a monthly basis in accordance with Group reporting standards and guidelines

Preparation and management of annual audits of the companies

What will help you to be successful in this role?
Ideally, you have already gained some experience from working in a fast growing, global SaaS company. The main challenges facing in the first 12 months in the role consists of enforcing all newly introduced accounting processes (O2C, P2P, R2R) in the recently implemented Group-wide NetSuite accounting environment.

Ideally, the successful candidate has experience of NetSuite and accounting for Nordic companies and an eye to the detail. We value the capability of continuous process improvement and the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.

In addition, our expectations would be that you have:

B.Sc. in Finance or another equivalent

5-7 years working experience in accounting / finance control

Ability to handle local company accounting independently (ideally incl. General knowledge of preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns)

Ability to juggle between multiple projects and responsibilities

Good spoken and written Finnish and English language skills and, other Nordic languages are a benefit

Prior experience of working in an international Group of companies

Ability and willingness to work in virtual teams and in a remote first environment
