We are looking for two dynamic and result-driven Business Managers for Valio Fresh Business Unit in Snacking team. The positions are fixed-term (parental leave). Snacking category includes yogurts, quarks, puddings and viili. Brand and product responsibilities will be defined later. 

As Business Manager your main responsibility is to lead and to develop the product portfolio and business of your responsibility area, according to the category plan and Valio strategic goals in Finland and international markets. 

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong ambition for growth, can-do attitude and an innovative way of working. You are motivated to work and lead projects in a cross-functional team and in matrix organization. 

Your responsibilities include:

• Managing and developing business in a results-driven way 

• Creating and executing business plans

• Developing future business and brands in your portfolio 

• Leading new product development projects and work closely with both internal as well as external stakeholders  

Requirements:

• Growth-driven mentality, result oriented, self-driven

• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, analytical skills and the ability to turn those into actions 

• Open-minded and creative mindset, courage to bring new ideas to the table and think outside the box 

• Successful track record in leading and developing business cases 

• Solid experience in project management cross-functionally

• Previous experience in brand and concept development

• Can-do-attitude, resilience and ability to work under pressure

• Problem-solving mindset, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and inspire others

• An academic degree in business, food science or other relevant field

• Excellent communication and language skills: fluent Finnish and English, others as advantage
