Embedded Solutions unit is home for more than 100 embedded experts. We support our customers in designing and developing embedded electronics starting from system design, schematics, PCB layout, prototyping, and testing. Our strength is safety critical system development. Our customers come from various industries, e.g., space, medical, automation, railway, machinery, measurement equipment, GNSS, networks, telecommunications, power solutions.

We are looking for Embedded Hardware Summer Trainees
We are looking for embedded hardware enthusiasts to join our experienced engineers over summer and possibly longer. In this role you will work on a project that best suits your background and interests.

You have a scientific, engineering, computer science or similar background and an aspiration for a career in hardware, electronics or engineering. Depending on your background and personal interests you would take part in one of our customer projects or help us with some internal work.

What should you expect to accomplish during the internship?
Your goal is to find your feet in our group and become a trusted member of the project team.

As you start you will be welcomed by your Huld leader and introduced to warm office atmosphere and colleagues. You will join a project team. Your Project Manager will introduce you to the project, your responsibilities, tasks and expectations. You will be assigned a Mentor who will help you to ramp up your project work efficiently and support you until you become an independent contributor. Your success is measured by collecting feedback from your colleagues, customers and by your own satisfaction.

Heres the recipe for success

– Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, electronics, signal processing, automation, mathematics, physics etc. You are preferably in the final year of B.Sc. studies or have advanced towards M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree. Ideally, you are looking for a M.Sc thesis work.

– Ability and interest to learn new topics

– Interest for hardware or electronics design tasks; power supplies, analog interfacing, digital sensors, measurements or embedded MCUs, perhaps some studies or hobby projects done

– Strong problem-solving abilities, ability and interest to learn new topics.

– Good communications skills and ability to work in both as part of a team and individually.

– Quality-oriented mindset

– Excellent spoken and written English
