Payroll Specialist

As our long-term payroll specialist has decided to retire, we are now seeking a talented and experienced payroll professional to join our HR and payroll team. 

Your duties include diverse payroll administration tasks, such as calculating the salaries of monthly- and hourly-paid employees, preparing payroll reports and statistics for internal and external stakeholders, as well as various payroll-related applications, earnings inquiries and certificates. You are a key user and responsible for our payroll system. Assisting with payroll accounting and supporting our managers in employment-related matters is also part of your job description.

What we expect from you:

• Several years of experience in payroll, especially in the white-collar field 
• Organized approach with capability to keep schedules 
• Proactive approach and customer service-oriented mindset
• Experience in requirements and practices related to work abroad is an advantage
• Fluent use of Excel
• Admin level knowledge of Sympa HR system is an advantage
• Willingness to learn and openness for new 
• Proficiency in English language
• Fluency in Finnish
