Designer – Architecture

Job Description / Responsibilities

1) Work closely with Team Leader Architecture to understand the project brief in order to prepare detailed Architectural drawing for the Pharma & Bio-pharma projects. 

2) Typical work activities: – Work activities vary depending on the type of Clients and nature of the project but typically involve: 

a) Working from rough drawings and specifications to prepare full scale and detail drawing. 

b) Making multiple changes in the drawings as per timely inputs from client and interdisciplinary departments for final approval and make sure that changes do not have unforeseen effects on the other construction elements. 

c) Preparation of Architectural layouts, Plans, Elevations, Sections and Details. 

d) Require strong technical drawing skills along with familiarity with principles and best practices of Architectural drafting and design using software. 

e) Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must. Knowledge of MS Office, Revit, SketchUp and Photoshop would be an added advantage. 

f) Preparation and submission of BOQ. 

g) Maintaining Timely deadlines and Quality with efficient work. 

3) The position requires excellent attention to details, since the drawings needs to be technically correct and presented in a readable, accessible format.

Desired profile of the candidate 

5 – 7 years exp in industrial projects, preparing of drawings. Experience in pharmaceutical/ Biotech/ Food & Beverage projects preferred. 

UG / PG Qualification

Diploma (Civil) with 5-7 Years of experience / Course in Architecture Draftsman                                

Minimum Experience

5 years in Industrial Projects, site coordination & management (Preferably in Pharma / Biotech projects)
