Operational Excellence Manager

Luvata is a leading provider of copper solutions and related engineering services to different industries, including automotive, science, electronics, power generation and distribution, renewable energy and healthcare. Luvata employs over 1400 people in 6 countries and continuously develops its operations and organizational performance. 

Luvata Oy is now looking for an Operational Excellence Manager. 

The appointed person will report to Luvata Group’s Business Development Director and the position will be based in Luvata headquarters in Pori, Finland (varying remote and local work).

Profile

• Minimum: ~5 years of experience working in business development and/or industrial environments, likely in medium level management, Lean or continuous improvement specialist role. Availability for travelling. 
• Preferred: Experience in driving change programs for different companies &/or international/multiple sites, i.e., consulting or industrial turnaround. Business Development experience. Experience in sustainability topics is a plus.
• Education: Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering or related field

Main Tasks

• Follow up and advise on main transformations and business development programs in all Luvata Manufacturing Units (MU).
• Engage with local Manufacturing Units (MU) to help them deliver step changes to KPI targets.
• Create a coaching relationship with local lean resources based on regular updates and training.
• Overview and advise on MU operational improvement plans.
