Join our team of valiopeople! We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager / Business manager in Dairy drinks category located in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki. Dairy drinks category includes milks (e.g., Valio milks, Eila milks, Kiehu), flavored milks (e.g., Play, Latte) and Valio sour milks. The position is fixed-term (parental leave until April 2025).

This position offers you an opportunity to work in significant and interesting category in Valio. Your main responsibility is to lead and develop the dairy drinks business according to category plan and Valio strategic goals. You will manage dairy drinks product portfolio, execute business plans and business analysis. 

To succeed in this role, you should be business-oriented, self-driven, and be motivated about financial and operational analysis and you are able to translate them into meaningful business input. You should have the ability to independently identify and pursue plans and actions in line with category plans and targets. You know how to take the lead and manage projects matrix. 

Your responsibilities include:

• Manage and develop the dairy drinks business in a results-driven way
• Create and execute business plans
• Develop future business and brands in your portfolio
• Lead NPD projects and work closely with both internal as well as external stakeholders 

Requirements:

• Strategic, business-oriented thinking and strong analytical skills
• Min. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role 
• Successful track record in leading and developing business cases
• Previous experience in brand and concept development
• Experience in project management and leading in matrix
• Growth-driven mentality, result oriented, self-driven
• Can-do-attitude, resilient and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and inspire others
• Excellent communication and language skills: fluent Finnish and English
• Relevant education and proven track record from a similar position
