Chief Design Engineer

We are currently lookin for an Chief Design Engineer (Thermal Equipment) to work in our projects in Uusimaa. 

You will lead the design and engineering of thermal equipment, ensure efficient operations, coordinate with vendors, perform thermal calculations, and troubleshoot issues. Join us to contribute to international process and energy industry projects.

Tasks and responsibilities:
* Carry out design tasks in alignment with project goals and design procedures
* Specify, evaluate, select, and engineer fired equipment packages to ensure reliable, cost-effective, and efficient operation
* Engage in bid preparation, vendor negotiations, execution planning, and cost estimation for our projects, serving as the primary contact for vendors concerning the assigned equipment scope
* Perform thermal calculations and analyses for thermal equipment
* Assist in troubleshooting and conducting technical assessments of fired heaters and heat exchangers in collaboration with maintenance and operations teams across all production sites
* Share and enhance your extensive knowledge and technical expertise through close cooperation with our clients and global resources

Requirements: 
* Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a similar education
* Minimum 12 years of working experience in project work and strong knowledge of thermal equipment e.g. furnaces, burners, hot oil heaters, shell & tube heat exchangers and air coolers
* Experience in various package equipment deliveries in Chief Engineer, Project Manager or in similar key roles
* Experience in relevant standards, such as EN, ASME, TEMA and API standards
* Knowledge of relevant legislation such as Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), Machinery Directive (MD) and ATEX Directive
* Experience in the areas for example detail engineering in manufacturing, workshop production, NDT-testing, expediting and commissioning
* Fluent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
