Our Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMRT) IT Delivery organization supports end to end business processes with solutions by providing solution design & architecture, project implementation and service operations.

SMR IT, Delivery Production area is a group of global experts working closely together with Sandvik Business Areas and Divisions on SAP S4/Hana and Roima LEAN related IT solutions and services, which are widely used globally.

Would you be our new IT Delivery Manager?

Your mission

In this interesting role you are responsible for managing and developing IT Delivery Area Production including demand, delivery, service and support, project and stakeholder management for selected IT services and solutions. Your daily work consists e.g. following areas.

– Leading a group of 8+ skilled IT professionals

– Development and profitability of your delivery in accordance with our IT strategy

– Working in tight collaboration with business, vendors and other SMR IT stakeholders

– Managing critical service LEAN service as well as implementation and rollout of production units to SAP S4/Hana (Finland, Sweden, Malaysia, India, France, Canada, USA, China, South Africa)

– Operations and availability of several applications used by over 1200+ end users globally

– Incident and request management according to the agreed SLAs

– IT demand, delivery, and service management in Production Domain

– Information security and risk management for the services in question

The location for this position is Tampere or Turku, Finland. You will report to IT Delivery Manager Supply Chain / Service, within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions IT.

What would you bring with you to our team?

A strong experience in

– Production ERP SAP S4/Hana migration projects

– Roima LEAN ERP solution

– Production related IT systems and solutions – developing and supporting them

and…

– Working experience from engineering and/or Manufacturing environments

– Over five years of experience in a management role

– A suitable degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in a related field (Engineering, Computer science)

You are self-directed, organized, proactive, and poses good teamworking and team lead skills. To thrive in this position, you have an analytical approach and can communicate your thoughts to stakeholders coming from different domains. You are eager to learn new things as well as mentor others in your domain of excellence.

Being perceptive and sympathetic, you easily create a trusting environment for collaboration. Youre also a passionate networker, using your excellent collaboration skills to interact and build valuable and open relationships. You speak and write fluent English and travelling for work would not be a problem for you.
