Gaming Product Security Lead

We are now looking for a passionate and skilled Gaming Product Security Lead for a permanent and full-time position. 

In this role you would lead our product security work and be responsible of the security of Veikkaus’ gaming products, platforms and services over their lifecycle. You would work with a team of application, cloud and infrastructure security specialists and collaborate closely with our software development organizations to reduce security related business risks and to meet increasing regulatory compliance and growing security demands by customers. 

We are looking for you who 

• Have passion for making security an integrated part of software development activities. 
• Are comfortable with balancing evolving security requirements and business priorities and discuss with product management and development teams.
• Actively translate compliance and security requirements to technical requirements and reusable implementation.
• Continuously improve our modern secure software development model and toolbox, and you are committed to coach teams, mentor security champions and do trainings for developers, testers and operations to ensure the organization can use the model to fullest. 
• Create visibility to the security status of products, platforms and service, and the organizational coverage of the secure software model and toolbox usage.
• Are pragmatic, well organized and able to see the big picture while attending to important details. 
• Have good people skills and communicate clearly to various audiences. 

You get to work in a modern environment making use of public cloud-based infrastructure and application development tool and drive automated security assurance solutions in the CI/CD systems. 

In the role you report to the CISO. In addition to product security, you get to influence and contribute to other aspects of cybersecurity as part of the CISO team. 

In addition, we value and consider as strengths

• Experience in game or software product business
• Practical experience of modern software security approaches and steps
• Experience in automating security testing in CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in attack surface and vulnerability management 
• 3-5 years of work experience of cybersecurity and a related technical degree
• Basic knowledge of Finnish is preferred

The workplace is located at Veikkaus’ head office in Helsinki, Pohjois-Haaga. Veikkaus prefers a flexible hybrid work model between a remote workplace and an office.
