Junior Language Specialist with Norwegian

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Localization Review and validation of machine learning translation corpora Rating Translation Annotation Ad hoc linguistic tasks

Skills:

– Norwegian native speaker, including major regional and linguistic variants

– Solid and comprehensive understanding of the formal aspects of the target language (e.g. grammar, parts of speech, formal/casual/dialects)

– Knowledge/awareness of linguistic terms and concepts

– Proven experience in annotation, translation, localization, linguistic QA, rating

– Excellent oral and written communication skills in native language as well as in English Excellent attention to detail

– Ability to work independently with confidence and little oversight

– Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex guidelines accurately

– Grasping technical concepts and learning new tools Formal academic linguistic education is a plus
