Logistics Specialist / International Move Coordinator

**Job description**

Travelcargo International Removals is a Finnish company founded in 2005 and one of Finlands most trusted specialists in international relocations. We help private customers, companies, diplomats and expats move their homes and personal belongings from Finland abroad and from abroad to Finland.

Travelcargo is part of ATC Global Solutions Oy Ab, a Finnish logistics company with over 20 years of experience in international transport. We are FAIM certified, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified, and members of FIDI, IAM and EUROMOVERS.

Our office language is mainly English.

We are now looking for a permanent, full-time International Move Coordinator for our office in Vantaa.

**The role**

As an International Move Coordinator, you will be responsible for the practical coordination of international removals from start to finish. You will act as the customers main point of contact and coordinate the moving process together with sales, moving crews, overseas agents, transport partners, and our in-house freight forwarding and customs divisions.

The role combines customer service, international logistics and practical problem-solving. Every move is different, and the goal is to make sure the customer feels informed, well supported and in safe hands throughout the process.

Your tasks include:

– Coordinating international household goods moves from Finland abroad and from abroad to Finland

– Acting as the customers main point of contact during the moving process

– Communicating with customers, overseas agents, transport partners, moving crews and internal departments

– Scheduling packing, collections, storage, transport and deliveries

– Coordinating air, sea and road transport solutions together with internal and external partners

– Preparing and checking moving-related documents, instructions and shipment details

– Following up on shipments and keeping all parties informed

– Anticipating possible challenges and finding solutions in changing situations

– Working with sales and operations to ensure a smooth handover from quotation to execution

**What we expect from you**

You should have experience from a role where accuracy, communication and coordination are central. Previous experience from international removals or the moving industry is considered a strong advantage. Knowledge of freight forwarding, forwarding work, or air, sea and road freight is also a big plus.

We are especially interested in candidates with a background in one or more of the following areas:

– International removals or moving services

– Freight forwarding or forwarding roles

– Air, sea or road freight

– International logistics

– Customs or transport-related documentation

– Transport coordination

– Relocation services

– Export and import shipments

– Customer service in an international environment

– Project or customer case coordination

**To succeed in this role, you should have:**

– Good communication skills and a customer-focused way of working

– Fluent Finnish and English skills, both written and spoken

– Good organizational skills and attention to detail

– Ability to manage several customer cases at the same time

– A calm and solution-oriented approach in changing situations

– Ability to work independently, but also as part of a team

– Good general IT skills and willingness to learn new systems

– A positive attitude and a good sense of humour

Swedish language skills are considered a strong advantage.
