 Job description

Our proactive maintenance team plays an essential role in maintaining the reputation of several locations and venues within SantaPark Arctic World. The team ensures that the locations are functioning properly, well-maintained, safe and provide a comfortable and enjoyable environment for our guests throughout their stay.

This team also plays a significant role in promoting sustainability and a circular economy by working with energy efficiency, water conservation, and reducing consumption primarily by repairing. This team works side by side with housekeeping and operations to ensure our guests make lifelong memories in the Arctic Circle.

Their diligent efforts contribute to guest satisfaction, health and safety, operational efficiency, revenue generation, and compliance with regulations, making them a cornerstone of the hospitality industry. We are proud to say our Maintenance team maintains an exceptional standard and enhances the guest experience. Duties include:

– Remove snow and ice from walkways and parking lots

– Repair and replace damaged or broken items

– Handle basic property maintenance tasks

– Maintain outdoor areas

– Driving in snow conditions (training is provided)

– Maintenance work is done in different locations in Rovaniemi
– Arctic TreeHouse Hotel and Rakas Restaurant & Bar (https://arctictreehousehotel.com/)

– SantaPark – Home Cavern of Santa Claus (https://santapark.fi/)

– Santa Claus Secret Forest-Joulukka (https://santaclaussecretforest.com/)

– primary location will be determined at the beginning of the season

 General requirements

– Previous experience from maintenance work

– Capable of completing work tasks independently as well as working in a team

– Ability to take responsibility and maintain the highest level of standards

– Problem-solving skills and you are self-driven

– Good communication skills

– Positive attitude

– Valid driving license

– Fluent English language

– Ability to legally work in Finland

 Considered as an advantage

– Ability to read different situations and adapt to them

– You have an eye for detail

– Flexible working hours from Monday to Sunday with alternating days off

– Average work hours 90 h/3 week, during the season the amount is usually higher
