Product Manager, OEM Services
to join our team in Portfolio branch.
Portfolio is responsible for products and services as well as their development and sales support, consisting of three product and service lines: Protected Mobility and Defence Systems, Through Life Capability and Battlefield and Critical Systems.
Product Manager, OEM Services, is a key role in driving the execution of Patria’s international growth strategy as a part of Through Life Capability Product and Service Line (PSL). This position focuses on the Patria OPTIME life cycle services for Patria’s own products. Patria OPTIME is a modular service model for providing life cycle services for our customers. It covers all different service areas throughout the fleet life cycle from maintenance, modification projects and integrations to supply chain management and training. Your tasks will include e.g.:
- Development and productization of maintenance and life cycle services for vehicles, mortars and other Patria products in an international environment
- Co-operative development of market needs and operative capabilities with Markets and Operations
- Supporting Patria OEM Services business profitability
- Participation to RFx responses and marketing activities, including technical support, documentation, presentations.
- Responsible for service strategy and roadmaps for your products
- Supporting delivery projects, including close collaboration with operations and sales to ensure execution of the product strategy and fit-to-purpose solutions for the customer need.
We offer a responsible position, but also an iron-clad and professional team to build the best solutions in the market. The Product Manager cooperates a lot with the ILS department (Integrated Logistics Support) of Patria’s Design and Engineering function, as the ILS department produces product support material for OEM products. There is also a lot of cooperation with the OEM Support department in the Production unit since the OEM Support department provides services for Patria’s own products.
The manager will work mainly in Hämeenlinna since the largest internal stakeholders are there and Tampere will be the secondary work location. Remote work is possible according to Patria’s instructions in agreement with the supervisor.
Our customers are mainly in the European region, but some are also further away. There may be 1-2 trips abroad per month, but that also depends on the work situation. Our working languages are English or Finnish.
What are we looking for:
We are looking for a product lifecycle management expert who also has insight into maintenance business and commercial implementation. You know how equipment life cycle management should be carried out wisely.
The chosen employee must have:
- Knowledge of the basic principles of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and MRO
- Experience with the overall maintenance and requirements of defense industry vehicles and mortars
- Experience with data driven productization
- Understanding of spare parts and logistics
- Independent and self-initiated working style
- Good communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Understanding of financial figures, offers and contracts
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field
Furthermore, it is beneficial if you have:
- Work experience in an international environment
- Courage to challenge and develop one’s own and the company’s operations
- Fluent written and spoken Finnish
- Ability to deliver clear and engaging oral presentations is appreciated
