Senior Scrum Master – for Metso

We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to work for our customer Metso. Metso offers a broad range of products and services for customers in the aggregates, minerals processing, and metals refining industries. The projects are delivered on a global scale.

In this role, you act as a servant leader and coach, promote Agile ways of working, and remove obstacles that slow teams down.

What You Will Do

• Coach teams and leaders on Agile and Scrum practices
• Facilitate key Scrum events (planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Help teams identify and remove blockers
• Support continuous improvement and learning
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches
• Enable cross-functional and cross-location collaboration
• Challenge current ways of working and suggest improvements
• Help teams focus on customer and business value
• Support transparency and predictability in delivery
• Mentor team members and leaders when needed

What You Bring

• 2–3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role
• Hands-on experience in Agile or SAFe environments
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills
• Ability to identify problems and turn them into clear actions
• Experience working with distributed or virtual teams
• Good understanding of software development and IT environments
• Passion for coaching and a can-do attitude
• Clear and confident communication skills
• Fluency in English

Nice to Have

• Scrum Master or Agile certification
• Experience with SAFe
• Background in software or technology

The assignment starts as soon as possible during March and is initially for 6 months, with a possibility of extension. The role is based in Espoo or Tampere.
