Munax Mynämäki site is currently seeking for a

HENHOUSE AND PACKAGING PROCESS WORKER

for the summer period of 1.5.-30.9-2026 and for parental leave for the period of 11.3.-31.12.2026.

Our modern henhouse for barn egg production combined to egg packing plant enables a low carbon footprint for our products and a long shelf life of the eggs for consumers and retail, since our products do not have to be transported separately for packaging. The site is unique in Nordics.

The work community consists of a team of 25 motivated professionals specialized in animal care and product packaging. Task of the team is to take care of the well-being of large flock of hens in six henhouses and to pack the eggs produced by the hens for consumers. Work assignments are scheduled gradually between 6:00 a.m. and 20:00 p.m., from Monday to Sunday. The salary for the position complies with the collective agreement of rural industries. In addition to the hourly salary, you have opportunity to earn production related bonus. The employment is full-time 37.5 hours per week.

Your most important tasks will consist of, among other things, the following:
Taking care of production animals:
feeding and monitoring the operation of water systems
collecting floor eggs
removing manure to the manure dryer and driving the dried manure to the manure storage,
monitoring the well-being of the chickens and implementing the necessary measures
taking care of the cleanliness of the production facilities

Packing eggs on a modern packaging line:
Preparation work for packaging, such as preparing containers
Filling packaging materials into the packaging machine
Picking single packages from the line and packing them in group packages
Packing group packages on pallets
Troubleshooting of the most common errors in the line
Taking care of the cleanliness of the production facilities

Mandatory qualifications in this role are:
Valid work permit for the field of the mentioned duties. Please note, we do not offer visa sponsorship.
Reading and oral skills of Finnish or English
Driving license valid in Finland and car in use, as our site is located on the sparsely populated area and it cant be reached with public transportation
