 We are now looking for an

Business process-oriented Service Manager, IT Design and Production Solutions

to join our team, which is responsible for supporting the engineering and manufacturing solutions of our great products across different domains and locations with our modern software portfolio. You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions. 

The role

In your role as Service Manager, you will ensure our IT services meet evolving business needs in close collaboration with key stakeholders in Business and IT. You will have a key role in shaping IT services that enable world-class shipbuilding.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Create transparent service plans for the solution domain
• Bridge development and operations and conduct service readiness assessments 
• Ensure a managed service delivery for own area of responsibility and service delivery according to SLAs. 
• Conduct regular service reviews
• Drive operational excellence, set standards for operations and participate cross IT service process development with other service managers 
• Follow the business needs and manage the demands in close collaboration with your business and IT peers as well as service providers to provide state-of-the-art solutions for our shipbuilding processes
• Support and drive the performance of our service providers who help us in delivering the daily IT services

Your location will be Turku, Finland with possibility to work partly remotely.

You

Ideally, you are an experienced IT professional with multiple years of background in IT service management, preferably in the areas of Design or Production Solutions. 

You have a degree in IT and multiple years of experience in technical support and management / coordination role with general understanding on design and production technologies being highly appreciated. Experience in ServiceNow administration, as well as ITIL processes is an advantage.

You understand or are eager to learn shipbuilding planning and production processes. In addition to your IT skills, you can perform well in a project-driven organization. You enjoy collaboration and building bridges across organizational boundaries, and working in English is natural for you. 

As a person you are goal-oriented and willing to explore and find the best solutions to serve our business needs. You want to continuously develop yourself and the ways of working of the work community. Our team achieves success through collaboration, and your contributions are integral to the team.
