We are now looking for a motivated

Sales Development Representative (SDR)

to take responsibility for our sales and new customer acquisition processes.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys both prospecting and relationship-building in a fast-paced environment within the electronics industry. The primary focus is on new customer acquisition, together with a strong emphasis on cold calling and outbound sales actions.

This role offers flexible location options, with the possibility of being based in either Tampere or Tallinn. Some travel is required to visit clients and company locations.

The role in a nutshell

You will first qualify and identify potential clients, make first contacts through various channels (preferably by phone) and arrange Teams and in-person meetings for further discussions. Youll create tailored presentations, negotiate terms, and close deals while ensuring smooth onboarding and long-term client satisfaction. Regular communication and CRM management are essential for tracking progress and identifying upselling opportunities.

What we expect?

– Communication & Sales Skills: Strong verbal and written communication (in Finnish and English) and the ability to build trust with clients. Proven ability to conduct persuasive sales conversations and negotiations.

– New Business Focus: This role is mainly dedicated to new customer acquisition. You should be comfortable making a high volume of cold calls and handling cold leads effectively.

– Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the electronics industry is highly preferred. Familiarity with the sectors key players, market trends, and technical aspects will be a significant advantage in identifying and engaging potential clients.

– Self-Motivation & Resilience: A proactive attitude, ability to work independently, and persistence in overcoming challenges and handling rejection.

– Organizational & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

– Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems and other relevant technologies. Ability to quickly learn new software and adapt to digital sales processes.

– Adaptability & Growth Mindset: Willingness to continuously learn, improve sales techniques, and adjust strategies based on market trends and client feedback.

– Results-Driven Approach: A strong focus on achieving sales targets, with a data-driven mindset to track performance and optimize efforts.
