Our operations are expanding and growing strongly domestically and internationally. To enable growth, we are now looking for an experienced process expert for our Battery Value Chain & Critical Minerals business unit. 

 

Fimpec has established a new business unit called Batteries and Critical Minerals (FBCM). The unit develops and provides services to meet the needs of the mining industry, mineral processing and Battery Value Chain industry. Read more here. 

 

For this position, we are primarily looking for an open-minded, responsible and customer-oriented experienced professional with a background in mineral processing, hydrometallurgy or battery industry. In the position, you will assist in sales as technical expert, work in planning and project management tasks together with experienced experts in the field and You will lead and further build a team of experts capable of executing engineering and technical consultation projects. 

 

We are looking for a person for our Helsinki office and with many years of experience, we work excellently even remotely. However, we hope that we will also meet face-to-face, and especially during the orientation period, this is required.

Success in the task requires you to: 

• M.Sc. degree or higher in relevant field, preferably process metallurgy or chemical engineering 

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in mineral processing-, hydrometallurgy and/or battery metals refining industry, more experience is highly appreciated 

• Experience in operating plants, engineering, project developments and sales 

• Experience in HSC Chemistry process simulation software 

• Preparation and reviewing of equipment specifications and other process engineering documentation 

• Proficiency in English, Finnish, Spanish and other language skills are considered an advantage 

• Ability to manage international customer projects independently
