Responsible Foreman
Enersense Engineering Oy is currently seeking a Responsible Foreman for its client in Evijärvi, Finland. The position is scheduled to start in March 2026, and the estimated project duration is approximately 18 months.
The Site Manager is responsible for the practical execution of construction works on site and for ensuring that construction is carried out in accordance with approved designs, permit conditions, regulations, and good construction practice. The Site Manager acts as the responsible site representative towards authorities.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
* Managing and supervising construction works and daily site operations
* Ensuring occupational safety, quality, and schedule compliance
* Organizing site activities and supervising contractors
* Ensuring compliance with building permit conditions and regulatory requirements
* Preparing for inspections and site reviews and participating in them
* Construction documentation and reporting
* Cooperation with the Project Manager, designers, and the client
Requirements:
* Suitable educational background, for example in the construction field
* Statutory qualifications required to act as a Responsible Site Manager
* Experience as a Responsible Site Manager in demanding new-build construction projects
* Experience in a successfully completed new-build project with a gross floor area exceeding 3,000 gross m²
* Experience with projects executed using a delivery model that includes both design and construction
* Experience in healthcare, assembly/public buildings, or educational facility projects
