Project Lead

Enersense Engineering is currently seeking a Project Lead to support our client’s Data Centre projects located in Kirkkonummi and Espoo, Finland. We are hiring on a permanent basis and the position is set to start as soon as possible.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
* Manage overall project cost, schedule, and budget from inception through to completion
* Oversee and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure seamless execution of project activities
* Analyse, track, and manage critical milestone activities to prevent schedule delays and ensure timely delivery
* Review and evaluate construction proposals, pricing, and scopes of work
* Lead and facilitate client meetings and other required project coordination meetings
* Monitor and report on factors that influence construction costs, preparing data-driven insights and recommendations
* Demonstrate knowledge of construction procurement methods and manage long-lead equipment delivery schedules
* Review, validate, and audit cost estimates prepared by subcontractors and other project stakeholders
* Support engineering and design decisions related to cost and budget during design-build changes
* Track and verify equipment availability in line with the project schedule
* Coordinate and oversee scheduling consultant reviews and ensure integration with project controls
* Review and approve invoices, payment applications, and retention payments
* Manage the handover process to the client, including close-out documentation, warranties, and final deliverables

Requirements:
* Minimum 10 years experience in a similar role
* Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and other relevant project management tools
* Proven ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate multidisciplinary project activities.
* Commercially astute, with a strong understanding of project financial management and cost control
* Capable of working under pressure to meet demanding schedules while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards
