Engineering Package Manager

At Enersense Engineering Oy we are supporting our client with upcoming large-scale industrial construction projects and are looking for experienced Engineering Package Managers to join project teams in various phases of execution in Helsinki, Finland.

As an Engineering Package Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of assigned engineering packages, ensuring that scope, schedule, cost, quality and interfaces are managed effectively throughout the project lifecycle. Depending on the project phase, the role may be centralised or area-based, with close collaboration across disciplines and stakeholders.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
* Take ownership of assigned engineering packages from early engineering through procurement, construction and handover
* Define, manage and control package scope, deliverables and priorities
* Coordinate engineering activities in line with procurement and construction schedules
* Act as the primary technical interface towards vendors and suppliers
* Review and manage vendor documentation, technical clarifications and approvals
* Identify, manage and resolve interfaces between packages and disciplines
* Support construction readiness, installation and commissioning activities
* Monitor package progress, risks, deviations and report status to project management
* Ensure compliance with applicable standards, safety requirements and project procedures
* Contribute to continuous improvement of package management practices

Requirements:
* Degree in engineering or equivalent technical education
* Experience in large industrial or infrastructure projects
* Previous responsibility for engineering packages or similar scope ownership
* Strong understanding of engineering workflows, procurement processes, and site execution
* Experience working with multiple vendors and contractors
* Ability to manage technical interfaces and dependencies
* Comfortable working in fast-paced and changing project environments
* Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple packages simultaneously
* Practical, solution-oriented mindset
* Experience in safety-critical or regulated environments is an advantage
* English language skills
