Energy Marshall

Enersense Engineering is currently seeking an Energy Marshall to support our client’s Data Centre projects located in Espoo and Kirkkonummi, Finland. We are hiring on a permanent basis and the position is set to start as soon as possible.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
* Develop and follow the site energy control plan.
* Manage safe energisation and shutdown of all electrical systems (LV/MV/HV) according to permits and switching schedules.
* Lead daily and weekly energy control meetings and coordinate work with MEP, commissioning, OFCI and GC teams.
* Prepare and check switching plans, method statements and risk assessments.
* Maintain energy status boards and keep records of all energised systems.
* Coordinate energisation activities and milestones with project stakeholders.
* Ensure all subcontractors follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
* Manage energy permits to work together with EHS and QA/QC teams.
* Train site staff and subcontractors on energy safety and control procedures.
* Support commissioning activities, including load bank testing and energisation of UPS, generators, switchgear and cooling systems.
* Contribute to risk registers and ensure safety controls are in place for high-risk electrical work.

Requirements:
* Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* 7–10 years of experience in high-voltage or large electrical projects
* Good knowledge of LV, MV, HV systems, UPS, generators, switchgear and protection systems
* Experience with switching operations, isolation procedures and permit-to-work systems
* Familiarity with BMS / EMS / SCADA systems and control logic
* Skills in fault finding, protection coordination, testing and commissioning
* Experience with electrical safety studies such as arc flash and short-circuit analysis
* Understanding of data centre redundancy models (N, N+1, 2N) is an advantage
* Preferably S1 certification (all voltage levels) or S2 (up to 1000 V)
