The Hotel Maria, situated in Kruununhaka district of Helsinki, offers a distinctive choice for those who appreciate Nordic hospitality and refined luxury. We are now seeking
dedicated and service-driven team members to join our team for the summer period of 2025. As our summer employee, we are expecting you to be able to work throughout the summer, at least until mid-August, without periods of absence. As our hotel operates 24/7, you must be prepared to work on weekends and holidays in different shifts.

· A minimum age of 18 years
· Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
· A positive, service-oriented mindset
· Preferably, experience in the hospitality industry
· Strong communication skills
· The ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
· A systematic yet adaptable approach to work
· A proactive attitude in maintaining a clean and efficient workspace
· Fluency in English (Finnish proficiency is preferred; additional languages are a plus)
· A commitment to delivering Forbes-level luxury service

Employment contract and working hours:
These positions are fixed term approximately 90 hours / 3 weeks, starting flexible during April-May, depending on your life situation.
In some positions we have even the possibility to offer a continuation after the summer, with an hourly contract.
Recruitment is done together with our partner Eezy, however contracts are signed directly with The Hotel Maria.

À la carte Chefs
You are a culinary professional with a vision and a desire to develop food products and serve high-end meal experiences.
The ability to create fine dining quality dishes and uphold high standards in the kitchen. You have extensive experience in a fine dining environment and know how to deliver consistent quality dishes.
You are skilled in managing your work in á la carte kitchen and are ready to take responsibility.
You are at your best when working in collaboration with other chefs and excel under pressure.
Proficiency in common ordering systems and capability of participating in ingredient orders and inventory management. Familiarity with HACCP principles (Food safety knowledge).
Breakfast chefs
Ability to start shifts early in the morning and commute to work on time, ensuring seamless breakfast service.
Skill in preparing high-quality breakfast dishes, including cooking omelets to order with precision and efficiency.
Commitment to maintaining the highest standards in food presentation, flavor, and quality, aligning with luxury hospitality expectations.
Ability to work under time constraints, managing multiple orders while ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
A friendly and professional approach when engaging with guests, e.g. during buffet refilling, enhancing their breakfast experience.
