Develop efficient Nordic HR function that excels in supporting the business
Accell Group in the four Nordic countries covers Sales, Service, Warehouse and Back Office – a total of app. 200 employees and a multimillion Euros revenue. You are part of the Nordic HR team that besides you consists of an HR Generalist in DK and the HR Manager Northwest Europe based in Sweden. Accell Group has grown by a number of acquisitions and thus HR processes, systems and services differs greatly from location to location. The company is on a journey to completely redesign HR to develop a best in class highly efficient HR function capable of providing extraordinary service and support for the entire organization.
Your daily tasks and responsibilities count to:
- Develop and maintain strong partnership with business leaders and managers to understand their strategic objectives, business challenges and talent needs from a HR perspective;
- Together with the Nordic HR team – streamline, harmonize and centralize the entire Nordic HR function to establish highly efficient HR processes and support;
- Act as a strategic partner as well as providing coaching and support to managers on employee relations issues, including learning and development and performance improvement plans;
- Further develop the culture in HR into a truly supportive and service oriented mindset;
- Participate in several HR development projects like establishment and execution of HR standards and templates, talent management projects, retention, Comp & Ben etc.
- Act as a champion for organizational cultural initiatives and drive employee participation and engagement;
- Be part of the implementation of Workday as HR system throughout the Accell Group organization.
The role is based at the Accell Group location in Odense, Denmark or Espoo, Finland – there will be a need for you to be at the office 2-3 days per week. You will be providing remote support for the 3 other Nordic countries, with occasional travel to these locations. You will also have the opportunity to travel to other Accell sites in Europe, typically 1-2 times per year. Your direct reporting line will be to the HR Manager Northwest Europe, based in Sweden.
Profile: Experienced HRBP profile
You have worked in a HRBP role for a number of years with a wide variety of HR responsibilities like organizational and leadership development, talent management, comp & ben, development and implementation of HR policies and processes and related. You hold extensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations, ideally across multiple Nordic countries. You have obtained this experience in an international company with high standards of HR, preferably in a matrix organization.
Furthermore, we are seeking someone who:
- Is comfortable speaking their mind, challenge beliefs of stakeholders on all levels and implement the necessary initiatives to embrace true change;
- Has a strong track record of effective change management with the capability to bring all stakeholders along on the change journey required at Accell Group;
- Possesses deep business acumen and has a demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate company needs into HR initiatives;
- Has a minimum of bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field;
- Is fluent in Danish or Finnish and English – proficiency in other Scandinavian languages is an advantage.
