Total Product Support Engineer Semiconductor ALDSolve complex technical challenges at the forefront of semiconductor technology.Beneq is looking for a Total Product Support Engineer to join our Semiconductor ALD Business Unit in a global role supporting semiconductor customers worldwide.In this role, youll become one of Beneqs key technical experts, helping customers and field teams solve challenging equipment and process issues while driving continuous product improvement together with R&D and Product Management.This is a highly visible role combining hands-on troubleshooting, customer interaction, and product development collaboration. Youll work closely with cutting-edge ALD technology, international customers, and multidisciplinary teams – making a direct impact on product performance and customer success globally.If you enjoy solving difficult technical problems, working independently, and collaborating with experts across teams and cultures, this could be an excellent next step in your career.Your RoleAs a Total Product Support Engineer, you will support Beneqs Semiconductor ALD products throughout their lifecycle – from field issue resolution to continuous product improvement and future product development support.Youll work closely with customers, Field Service Teams, Product Management, R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure our products deliver high performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction worldwide.This role combines technical expertise, analytical problem-solving, and customer collaboration in an international environment. The position includes global travel to customer sites and Beneq locations.What Youll Be DoingAct as a technical expert supporting customers, field service engineers, and internal teamsDiagnose and resolve complex equipment and process-related issues remotely and on-siteLead and support root cause analysis and product reliability improvement activitiesCollect and analyze customer and field feedback to identify improvement opportunitiesCollaborate with R&D and Product Management to enhance product performance and serviceabilityParticipate in failure analysis, FMEA, and corrective action activitiesSupport new product introduction (NPI) and service readinessCreate and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and training materialsDeliver technical support and training for internal teams and customersSupport technical discussions, demonstrations, and customer interactions when neededWhat Were Looking ForBachelors or Masters degree in mechanical, chemical, electrical, automation engineering, or another relevant technical fieldExperience in semiconductor equipment, semiconductor processes, or related high-tech industriesStrong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across teamsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCustomer-focused mindset with a proactive and structured approach to technical challengesExcellent English language skillsWillingness to travel globally approximately 70 days per year, including longer customer site visits when neededNice to HaveExperience with ALD or other semiconductor deposition technologiesExperience in product support, field service, equipment troubleshooting, or process engineeringFamiliarity with FMEA, FTA, Ishikawa diagrams, or other quality and reliability toolsKnowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processesExperience with PLM systems, ERP/CRM tools, or technical documentation practicesChinese language skillsWhy Join Beneq?At Beneq, youll work with world-leading ALD technology in a collaborative and innovation-driven environment where technical expertise is highly valued.Youll join a skilled international team working on advanced semiconductor solutions with customers around the world.
