Do you enjoy working in a truly global environment and have passion to develop processes and take them to the next level?We are looking for an energetic and forward-looking back office / cash management professional for a fixed-term period of 9 months, starting from approximately April-May 2026. In this position, you will participate in Valmet Treasurys back office & cash management processes, work closely with our global finance colleagues and participate in acquisition preparations as well as integration of the acquired companies. You may also get involved in Valmets Treasury Management System (TMS) renewal project. Final job description will be adjusted according to your skills and experience. The position is located at Valmet´s head office in Keilaniemi Espoo.The position holder will be:Working on Cash Management & Back Office tasks such as:Internal and external Treasury payments processing, including:Matching trades electronically in FinastraConfirming the following days net flows with banksPre-advices to bank(s) about incoming payments in certain currenciesPayment instructions/reminders for subsidiaries outside cash poolsInitiating outgoing payments & monitoring / reconciling incoming paymentsReconciliation of Valmet Oyj Treasury bank accountsMonthly Closing, various reconciliation & bookkeeping related tasksBack Office part of Valmets monthly Netting processParticipating in bank account openings and closingsAdministrative tasks:Participating in online bank user administrationNomentia Treasury (former Trezone) user administrationTMS (TWIN + former Trezone) back office master data maintenanceSupporting Valmet Treasurys stakeholders (e.g. subsidiaries) with our Teams expertise in various mattersWorking on treasury / cash management tasks related to Valmets recently announced acquisition of Severn Group:Pre-Closing:Fact findingProcessing the gathered informationOther preparationsPost-ClosingVarious tasks related to onboarding Severn to Valmets cash management setupPossibly participating in various tasks related to Valmets TMS projectTo be successful in this position we expect you to have:Good understanding and previous experience on Treasury back-office operations and processesSolid experience of banking interfaces and Treasury IT-systems – previous experience of using TWIN, Nomentia Treasury (Trezone), Finastra & online banking tools is an advantageExperience of actively participating in and managing projectsAbility to organize & prioritise ones own work and timetables, be flexible and adapt to changing situations and schedulesAbility to work in multicultural organization, build and maintain relations across multiple regions and areasPassion to develop processes and drive changeSufficient accuracy and detail orientation as well as ability to handle pressure and work at fast pace in a changing environmentTeam work skillsAbility to identify & communicate development objectsYou have the needed basics in place: suitable education (Bachelors/Masters degree in relevant field) / relevant and suitable studies, relevant work experience, good MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint) and strong written and verbal communication skills in Finnish & EnglishWhat we can offer to you?We offer you a rewarding position with a global industry leader and a truly global network of colleagues.
