Procurement Manager

Bravida is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Procurement Manager (heating and plumbing category) to join our team in Helsinki. In this role, you will strengthen procurement performance across Finland, support profitable growth, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex and demanding projects.
As Procurement Manager, you play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of procurement within the heating and plumbing category. You are responsible for centrally managed procurement and for securing cost-effective, high-quality solutions that support both project delivery and long-term business performance.You are closely involved in projects from the earliest stages, working in close collaboration with project teams. You contribute to the development of procurement plans and support project start-up by ensuring that procurement activities align with project objectives and financial targets.Your responsibilities include managing competitive tendering processes and negotiating supplier agreements in cooperation with the project organisation. You actively monitor the market, identify development opportunities, and introduce competitive alternative solutions tailored to project needs.
In addition, you develop long-term supplier collaboration and ensure that suppliers are committed to Bravidas Supplier Code of Conduct. You also support branches in tender calculations, creating value for the wider organisation.In this role, you combine strong commercial thinking with practical project understanding and the ability to drive initiatives forward effectively.

What we are looking for

A relevant technical or commercial education, such as an engineering degree or equivalent background
At least five years of experience in procurement or a similar commercially driven role
Strong understanding of heating and plumbing products, suppliers, and the market environment
An established supplier network and a strong understanding of market dynamics
Strong financial and commercial understanding, with the ability to control and optimise project-related costs
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Fluency in Finnish and English

To succeed in this role, you bring experience from large and demanding projects and understand their procurement requirements. You work in a structured and proactive way and are able to manage multiple priorities at the same time. You combine a strong commercial mindset with a practical approach and are motivated by achieving results, building partnerships, and creating long-term value.
