As a Houseman at Waldorf Astoria Helsinki, you will be responsible for attending the needs of the housekeepers on a daily basis including but not limited to delivering linens, towels, in-room amenities, and cleaning the public areas. Your role is essential in upholding the hotels reputation for exceptional service and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

– Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

– Arrange and deliver linens, towels, and all in-room amenities in every storage

– Receive and arrange all deliveries from linen company and other suppliers

– Collect dirty linens, empty bottles, and trash from the storages

– Support team members and assist with additional housekeeping duties as required

– Support Room Attendants and Turndown Attendants by delivering amenities, extra beds, baby cots, and guest requests promptly

– Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping storage rooms, corridors, and back-of-house areas

– Assist with moving furniture, setting up rollaway beds /sofa beds, and preparing rooms for arrivals

– Assist with deep cleaning tasks and special projects as required

– Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate department

– Clean and maintain public and common areas to required standards

What We Are Looking For

– Fluent English communication skills (additional languages are an advantage)

– Impeccable grooming and professional presentation in line with luxury brand standards

– Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred, but not essential

– Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation

– A passion for delivering exceptional guest service

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

– Flexibility to work on different shifts, including weekends and holidays

– Physical ability to perform daily houseman tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting

– Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

– Has a valid working visa

Hourly wage: TES

Working hours: Minimum 37.5 hours per 3 weeks

Working hours: from Monday to Sunday between 5:30-22:00
