Haemme Hosteja yövuoroihin uuteen Scandic Go -hotelliimme, joka avautuu Ouluun tulevana kesänä!

Osana avaustiimiä palkkaamme sekä täysiaikaisia (90 h / 3 vko), että osa-aikaisia työntekijöitä. Työt alkavat kesäkuussa 2026.Huomioithan,
että suomen alkoholilainsäädännön mukaan tehtävässä vaaditaan 18 vuoden
ikää.

Millainen on yö Hostin rooli Scandic Go- hotellissa?

Yö hostina vastaat yövuorojen sujuvuudesta ja vieraidemme tarpeista sekä hotellin turvallisuudesta.

Hostina olet ennen kaikkea vieraita varten. Toivotat heidät lämpimästi tervetulleeksi ja autat heitä online check-inissä tai loungen itsepalveluautomaateilla. Vastaat myös kysymyksiin ja opastat tarpeen mukaan.

Valmistat ruokaa ja juomia. Huolehdit siitä, että lounge on siisti, viihtyisä ja rentouttava tila, jossa vieraiden on mukava olla. Olet aina valmis juttutuokiolle ja jakamaan paikallisia vinkkejä.

Check-outin yhteydessä varmistat, että vieraat ovat viihtyneet, ja autat heitä tarvittaessa.

Kuka sinä olet?

Etsimme henkilöä, jolle yötyö on mielekästä, joka hallitsee monta asiaa yhtä aikaa ja saa vieraamme tuntemaan olonsa tervetulleiksi. Olet hyvä ihmisten kohtaamisessa ja puhut sujuvasti suomea ja englantia. Muut kielet ovat plussaa.

Tärkeintä on kuitenkin asenteesi. Olet reaktiivinen, mutkaton ja yhteistyökykyinen tiimipelaaja, joka on luotettava ja välittää työnsä laadusta.

We are looking for Hosts for our new Scandic Go opening in Oulu this summer!

As part of our opening team we are hiring both full time (112,5h/3 weeks) and part-time contracts. The work will begin during June 2026. Kindly
note, that due to the Finnish alcohol law, we expect 18 years of age for this
position.

What does the role as Night Host at Scandic Go entail?

As a Night Host with us at Scandic Go, you will ensure that the night shift runs smoothly, our guests’ needs are met and ensure hotel security.

As a night host the focus is foremost on the guest. We welcome guests on arrival and, if necessary, assist with online check in or at our check-in stations in the lounge, as well as answer questions.

You are also responsible for the sale and preparation of food and beverage offerings, including alcoholic beverages.

We always make sure that the lounge area is clean and tidy so our guests have a nice and pleasant environment to hang out in. We are always there for the guest to answer questions and give good local tips.

At check-out we are there to ensure that the guest had a good time and help them if needed.

Who are you?

To fit the role, we are looking for someone who really enjoys working at night time. We also believe that you have well-developed social skills and are capable of handling many different things happening at the same time. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

Since the work largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and special English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is meritorious.

Most important, however, are your personal qualities and your attitude. To fit the role, you need to be a responsive and prestige-free team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.

About the position.

We are foremost looking for full time night workers (90hours /3weeks). Your immediate manager will be the Hospitality Manager.
