Cloud/Azure Administrator

Your role
As Azure Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, stability, security, and optimization of Luoteas Microsoft Azure environment. You will work closely with the Platform Owner, architects, DevOps teams, and external partners to ensure our cloud services are reliable, cost-efficient, and aligned with our governance and architecture standards.
This is a hands-on, technical role with real impact: you will not only run the platform, but actively help improve how we operate cloud services across the organization.

What you will do
Cloud operations & administration
· Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, identities, and core platform services
· Deploy, monitor, and maintain Azure services such as compute, networking, storage, and identity
· Ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery practices are in place

Automation & cloud-native ways of working
· Drive an automation-first mindset using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform)
· Support and evolve cloud guardrails, policies, and standard patterns
· Contribute to a modern CloudOps / DevOps operating model

Security, governance & compliance
· Manage RBAC, Azure AD integrations, and access controls
· Enforce policies, compliance, and security posture through automation and monitoring
· Work closely with security partners and internal stakeholders

Operational excellence
· Proactively monitor performance, availability, cost, and security
· Support incident, problem, and change management in agile workflows
· Maintain documentation and enable knowledge sharing across teams

Cost management & optimization
· Monitor Azure consumption and costs
· Identify and implement optimization opportunities that balance cost, performance, and reliability

What we are looking for

Essential experience
· Proven experience as an Azure Administrator or similar cloud operations role
· Strong knowledge of Azure core services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity)
· Hands-on experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code
· Experience working in an agile, cloud-native environment
· Good understanding of governance, policies, and compliance in Azure
· Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
· Fluent in English and Finnish or Swedish

Desirable
· Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g. AZ-104)
· Experience supporting DevOps teams and CI/CD pipelines
· Familiarity with FinOps principles and cloud cost governance
· Exposure to data platforms or integration services in Azure
