As we want to make sure that our coffee shop products are served fresh every morning, our preparation kitchen located in the heart of Helsinki operates mainly during nights. Therefore, your shifts will vary between mornings, evenings, nights and weekends.

Kitchen Assistant Manager Job Description
As an Assistant Manager in our kitchen, you are the leader of the preparation kitchen team together with the Kitchen Manager. Your most important job is to ensure that all the products prepared in the kitchen meet our quality standards. It is also essential that you ensure the kitchen follows all hygiene routines and everything is done according to the health and safety regulations. You will also be motivating your team and focusing on their well-being and skill development every day.

What do you need to succeed in this role

You have successfully worked as a team leader before, preferably in a kitchen/restaurant
Quality and product safety are on the top of your priority list
You set a good example and motivate others with your positive energy
You are ambitious and always want to learn more
You have strong communication skills, a solution-focused mindset, flexibility, and good stress tolerance
You can work full-time and work regularly in morning-, evening-, night- and weekend shifts
You speak fluent English and good Finnish: The working language is primarily English, but you will also encounter various communication materials and instructions in Finnish.
