Senior Purchasing Specialist, KONE Hyvinkää

We are looking for a Senior Purchasing Specialist to join our client KONE in their Purchasing team in Hyvinkää!

In this role, you will take ownership of customized and project-related purchasing activities within Car and Electrification categories. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop a systematic RFQ process, improve cost competitiveness, and build a strong supplier base. This position offers a great opportunity to contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives in a truly global environment.

The employment contract will be made with Adecco. The assignment starts as soon as possible and is initially fixed-term for one year, with a strong possibility for extension. The role is based in Hyvinkää, where you will work on-site at least three days per week.

Your main responsibilities will include:
– Managing RFQ processes for customized/project spending of Car and Electrification
– Building and refreshing the supplier pool to enhance cost competitiveness
– Collaborating with project managers to achieve savings targets
– Supporting cross-functional teams and contributing to purchasing strategy development

To succeed in this role, you should have:
– 3-5 years of experience in direct materials purchasing
– Knowledge of SAP and good skills in MS Office; PowerBI experience is an advantage
– A Bsc. degree in Engineering or Business
– Strong communication skills in English, Finnish skills are an asset
– Ability to work flexibly and proactively in a fast-paced environment
– Positive attitude and willingness to take on diverse tasks

Project management experience and familiarity with technical aspects are considered a plus. Occasional supplier visits within Europe may be required.
