We are looking for a dynamic, personable and customer service-oriented receptionist to join our client’s team in Helsinki! If your smile lasts longer than the Finnish summer, you might be the person we are looking for!

UNITY Helsinki offers an easy and flexible studio hotel concept that makes life smoother, more fun and more individual. In your role, you will serve clients at the reception desk and ensure their well-being in a high-quality long-term housing facility in Jätkäsaari, Helsinki.

Your main responsibilities:

-Reception and check-in of guests in a smooth and friendly manner
-Guiding our meeting guests with meeting facilities and equipment
-Handling reservations by phone and email
-Creating memorable customer experiences on a daily basis
-Creating a comfortable environment and atmosphere for customers
-Maintaining the cleanliness of public areas
-Working seamlessly with your team, and contributing to the development of our daily processes

You are a customer service professional with previous experience in a similar role. You are interested and willing to share your knowledge of local activities, restaurants, and events. You have strong interpersonal skills and are a reliable team player. You enjoy working independently on shifts, so initiativity and the ability to work independently are important qualities. You have an open-minded approach and a good ability to cope with pressure, so you are at your best in a fast-paced environment. You have excellent time management skills, effectively managing multiple tasks at the same time. Previous experience in hotel sales and management systems will give you an advantage! We would also consider it an advantage if you have a relevant education, e.g. a Bachelor’s degree in tourism or similar customer service training. However, your most important attribute is your willingness to learn and develop as a customer service professional. The post requires fluent written and spoken English. We will gladly award extra points for other language skills! Hygiene passport and liquor licence are required.

The job is part-time, average minimum of 60h/3wk and permanent. The employment contract will be concluded with Barona. You will be prepared to work in two shifts, every day of the week and every day of the year. Work will start as agreed in January 2025.
