Software Engineer

Our Data Management team in Piacenza  develops engineering data management software to help our customers achieve successful engineering projects. Now we are looking for a Software Engineer who can contribute to our development in this area. 

As part of the team, you create new and maintain existing features. You find ways to fulfill user needs, and you strive for efficient technical solutions and good usability. You participate in planning, implementation, and review both independently and as part of a Scrum team. In addition, you work closely with the Product Owner, who guides your everyday tasks.

What we expect from you

To thrive in this role, you should hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a couple of years of experience as a Software Engineer. Proficiency in .NET (C#) and SQL is a must, as well as proficiency in web application development (client-server architecture, JavaScript) and Version Control Systems (Git or SVN). Knowledge of PostgreSQL and ability to draw ER-diagrams is a plus. Experience with Agile/DevOps development, Docker is a nice-to-have. 

Your ability to communicate effectively in English and Italian, both with colleagues and customers worldwide, is essential. Your enthusiasm for collaborating closely with customers and your ambition to grow within your role, eventually taking on project management responsibilities, will set you apart. If you have experience in the process industry, that would be highly valued.
