We are now looking for a Solution Owner for Warehouse Management Systems

As the Solution Owner for Warehouse Management Systems at Anora, you will manage and develop solutions that are critical to our warehouse and logistics operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless integration and functionality of our WMS, automating storage systems, and improving logistics processes.

The working location is with the IT development team and can be based in one of these Anora’s locations: Helsinki (HQ), Rajamäki, Stockholm or Oslo. Occasional traveling is expected.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and oversee the deployment, integration, and optimization of Warehouse Management System landscape across Anora’s warehouses.
  • Identify and implement improvements within the warehouse technology ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure WMS supports business operations effectively.
  • Provide leadership in system upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Drive initiatives for continuous learning and adoption of next-generation warehouse technologies.

To succeed in this role, you need to have a proactive and independent working style and good interpersonal and influencing skills. You enjoy problem solving and you are good at conceptual thinking.

What You’ll Need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in warehouse management systems and related system integrations.
  • Solid understanding of the logistics system landscape, including automated storage systems and warehouse management.
  • Experience with industry-standard warehouse systems such as WMS, Kardex automated storage systems, and technology for labels, stickers, and tax stamps.
  • Familiarity with Roima Fidaware WMS, Roima Logia WMS, or similar warehouse management systems is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of voice picking systems, Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), and other innovative warehouse technologies will be an added advantage.

Language skills

  • Fluent written and spoken English. Any Nordic language skills are seen as a clear asset. Ability to clearly communicate about requirements and solutions from both business and technical perspective. Capability to communicate clearly to business about the changes, service breaks and development topics.
