Outfitting Designer
Job Description:
Preparing and reviewing technical documentation related to vessel outfitting
Dimensioning and selecting structures in accordance with regulatory requirements
Preparing basic design–level documentation, taking into account vessel specifications and regulatory requirements
3D modeling of outfitting, selecting components, and producing work drawings
Close cooperation with the entire project organization, including project management, design, procurement, and production
Supporting the project organization through technical processing and assistance with technical matters related to outfitting
Requirements:
Practical experience in ship outfitting design and installations; experience in shipyards is considered an advantage
Proficiency with 3D modeling tools and understanding of regulations and standards
Studies in mechanical engineering / naval architecture
Good computer skills:
AutoCAD
3D modeling (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Cadmatic)
Office software
Strong written and spoken English skills
