Rise Technologies is seeking a Flutter Developer to join our experienced team. We’re building AI-powered solutions that will transform how small and medium businesses manage their finances. Working alongside seasoned fintech veterans, including the founder of Paytrail, you’ll have significant impact on our technical direction and product development in this early-stage environment.
We are a small, product-focused team. We value clarity, ownership, and thoughtful engineering.

Fully remote position – Our team spans multiple countries, and we’ve built effective remote collaboration practices. Finland-based candidates (especially Jyväskylä area) are welcome for occasional in-person collaboration, but remote work is fully supported and expected.

The Role
Were looking for a Flutter Developer who wants to own and shape the Rise mobile application.
– You’ll work primarily on iOS and Android, with the possibility of expanding to desktop later.
– This role suits someone who:

– Collaborates actively with backend engineers and designers
– Cares about performance, detail, and user experience
– You wont just implement tickets—youll help define how the product works.

What You’ll Do
– Build core features in the Rise mobile app
– Turn Figma designs into polished, reliable UI
– Collaborate with backend developers on APIs
– Improve app structure, quality, and consistency
– Handle edge cases, error states, and performance considerations
– Participate in product discussions and shape feature behaviour

Tech Environment
We don’t require experience in everything, but you’ll work with:
– Flutter & Dart
– REST APIs
– Secure authentication flows
– Local data storage (e.g. Hive / similar)
– Modern development tooling (Git, CI/CD, Figma, Linear)
– AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, etc.)

What Were Looking For
– 3+ years of professional Flutter experience
– Strong understanding of mobile app architecture and async programming
– Experience shipping production apps
– Ability to collaborate closely with designers and backend developers
– Willingness to take ownership and make decisions
– Good communication skills in English
– Nice to have: experience with offline-ready patterns, analytics, or financial/business apps.
