I have an electric wheelchair due to my muscular dystrophy, aka muscle weakness.
We live with my wife and two teenage daughters in Kumpula, I also have a wheelchair accessible car.
I need help with getting up from bed, in the bathroom, feeding, groceries, running errands, etc.
I hope you have experience working with your hands.
Work includes heavy lifting and ability for precision and the ability to learn and listen to instructions. Patience and desire to overcome obstacles – problem solving attitude with good mental strength.
I am an experienced employer, for the past 20 years I have employed English speaking assistants.
I have worked professionally in IT for more than 20 years.
Most of all, you are physically strong and mentally resilient.
I hope you are reliable and punctual, you have a knack for tackling new challenges.
Driving licence and other home related skills would be appreciated. If you have driven a car in Helsinki, please let me know.
Salary range from minimum 1200 eur per month first year (13,05e/h) and more after gained experience. Pay increase possible later on.
Work time approx 20 hrs/wk, three days a week, every other weekend work according to steady shift rotation.
Shifts even weeks
Tue 07:30-15,
Sat 8-17,
Sun 8-12;
odd weeks Thu and Fri 7:30-15.
Occasional night shifts, extra pay.
