Job duties

Cleaner (commercial premises)

As a cleaner, you will take care of the comfort and cleanliness of our customers premises. You are responsible for quality and customer satisfaction through your own work. Your work location may be, for example, a store, office, care home, school, shopping center, etc.

The work can be carried out entirely at one site, or you may have several different cleaning sites during the day. Work takes place on weekdays and weekends, and shifts vary depending on the site – shifts may be early in the morning, in the morning, during the day, or in the evening. Some sites are located in different parts of Rovaniemi, so a drivers license and the possibility to use your own car are an advantage.

In this role, you get to do visible and meaningful work that has a direct impact on customers everyday life and comfort. The work is varied, independent, and responsible, but you are not alone – you will receive comprehensive onboarding at the beginning of your employment and support throughout your employment if needed. Your workday follows a pre-planned work list, and you are responsible for the smooth running of your work. The role emphasizes planning your own work, a proactive approach, efficient working, and adherence to agreed schedules. Careful execution of work according to quality and safety guidelines, as well as a service-minded and friendly attitude, are an essential part of everyday work. You enjoy independent work, problem-solving, and taking responsibility.

Your tasks may include:

-vacuuming floors, mopping, or using various cleaning machines
-cleaning sanitary and kitchen/break areas
-cleaning surfaces and other areas
-other basic cleaning tasks such as window cleaning
– Housekeeper (hotel sites)

As a housekeeper, you are responsible for the cleanliness and comfort of hotel rooms. Through your careful work, you ensure high quality and directly influence customer satisfaction.

You will work at hotel sites in your area. Workdays are on weekdays and weekends, mainly morning shifts.

Your workday follows a pre-planned work list, and you are responsible for the smooth flow of your work, although teamwork is ultimately essential for success! The role emphasizes planning your own work, a proactive approach, efficient working, and adherence to agreed schedules. Careful execution of work according to quality and safety guidelines, as well as a service-minded and friendly attitude, are an essential part of everyday work. You enjoy a fast-paced working environment and customer service work, and you operate smoothly in changing situations.

Your tasks include:

-cleaning hotel rooms, including changing linens and making beautiful beds, cleaning sanitary facilities, cleaning various floor surfaces, wiping surfaces, and replenishing hotel amenities
-cleaning public areas and/or meeting rooms
-various additional tasks such as window cleaning
-you may also have the opportunity to assist in the heart of the hotel, the kitchen, as breakfast support, and to delight the hotels youngest guests by working as a mascot

What do we offer you?

-A fixed-term, part-time employment contract (15–37.5 hours/week) with agreed working hours between May and September

-Salary according to the Property Services Collective Agreement, 11.03–12.88 €/hour depending on your tasks

Please note that if you are not a Finnish citizen, you must have a valid work permit for working in Finland.
