Seasonal workers for BELL TOWER Terrace & Bar, Helsinki

Your opportunity has come since we are looking for employees for the summer season 2025!

We have got two kiosks at the terrace. One is our Bar, and the other one is our Ice Cream Kiosk. Your duties will include cheerful customer service, preparation and serving of the sale products (alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, ice cream etc.) and maintaining a clean working environment.

You will be working in a team, and it can get hectic at times, so we expect excellent teamwork skills from you, as well as a proactive, self-initiated and cheerful attitude. We expect you to be flexible, responsible, and punctual in your work.

The shifts can take place between 10:00 and 02:00 on both weekdays and weekends. In the beginning and in the end of the season, we are open with reduced opening hours. The terrace opens during May, and it will be open until the end of August. The job is available for both full-time and part-time (0-37,5h/week). If you are looking for some extra income only every now and then, we also offer a possibility to be a backup person and come to work when we happen to need an extra pair of hands. Interns are also welcome (eg. Tourism-students).

Hygiene Passport, Alcohol Passport, and the opportunity to work throughout the summer are considered an advantage. Generally, we expect you to be at least 18 years old, but if you are at least 16 years old, you can send a job application, and we will take the overall situation into account, and see if we can get a modified job description that suits you. Previous work experience is an advantage, but it is not mandatory, as we will orientate you with the job. The most important things are to have a desire to learn new skills, as well as a positive attitude, the best experience for customer comes from your cheerful personality!

The customers are mainly tourists from all over the world, so good English-speaking skills are important. Also, a good level of Finnish is needed. The ability to speak any other languages on top of these two is an advantage!

Salary will be according to The Mara TES:
Bar: 12,99e/h
Ice cream kiosk: 11,35e/h
School & high school youths under 18-year-old: 70% of the salary above. Eg. 0,7×11,35e= 7,945e/h
