Electronics Design Engineer

For our client we are looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to strengthen an industrial control hardware R&D team based in Helsinki (Pitäjänmäki).

In this role, you will work on demanding embedded hardware development for long lifecycle industrial products, collaborating closely with system, software, and testing experts.

Key responsibilities:
Electronics design for embedded control systems in industrial products
PCBA design, with a strong focus on processor based boards
R&D validation, testing, and troubleshooting
Participation in system level testing (e.g. EMC)

Depending on your background and interests, the role may also include:
PCB layout design
FPGA / VHDL development
Power electronics design

Your profile:
5+ years of relevant experience in electronics design
Solid experience with embedded systems and processor based hardware
Familiarity with industrial product development and testing practices
Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross functional R&D team
