Data Steward ESG Regulatory Reporting
For our client, we are looking for a Data Steward within ESG Regulatory Reporting to support Workstream 3 in the BCBS 239 Risk Reporting Programme.
Key responsibilities:
– Work with WS3 by providing documentation and joining workshops to break down critical risk metrics into business terms and NBT (Named Business Terms) and assess importance where relevant
– Review and validate business data lineage mapping
– Identify, document and approve lineage for NBT and CBT (Critical Business Terms), for risk metrics across Business Area and Group Function data assets
– Work with upstream and downstream Data Asset Owners when requested
– Support WS3 in assessing CBTs against the latest Data Governance Requirements (DGR)
– Perform remediation activities to improve CBT governance in line with DGR
– Create or update Data Quality Business Rules, and data quality controls where needed to keep the full risk metric data flow aligned with Risk Metric Owner requirements
Must haves:
– Understanding and analyzing data warehousing structures
– Interpreting and validating complex data content
– Troubleshooting data issues
– Identifying and implementing corrective actions for data errors
– Developing and enhancing reporting functionalities
– Investigating high level data trends and root causes of inaccuracies
– Ability to deliver general analyst level tasks in data driven environments
Nice to have: – ESG and financial sector specific knowledge.
