We are now looking for an experienced and visionary Head Waiter who is passionate about first-class service and a joyful dining room and has strong experience (5+ years) in dining restaurants in Finland..
Job Description:
As our Head Waiter, you will be responsible for the overall atmosphere and service quality of our dining room. At the core of your work is managing the customer experience from the first encounter to the final pour of wine.
Your responsibilities include:
Managing dining room service processes and leading the team.
Developing and maintaining the wine and beverage list in collaboration with the kitchen.
Professional presentation and recommendation of dishes and drink pairings.
Managing customer relations and providing proactive, personalized service.
What we expect from you:
Strong experience (5+ years) in dining restaurants in Finland.
Interest in or professional knowledge of wines and beverage culture.
The ability to read situations and customers – you are a natural host who commands the room and genuinely likes people.
Excellent pressure tolerance and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in both Finnish and English.
A reference from a previous similar position in Finland.
