CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce parts according to orders by customers.

The salary is determined according to the collective labour agreement (technology & industrial agreement), but we offer a competitive compensation based on your experience and skills.

Examples of requirements:
– Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications.
– Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and models.
– Program CNC machines using G-code or other programming languages.
– Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment.
– Inspect and measure finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards.
– Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines
– Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize production efficiency.

The person we are looking for has:
– Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role for several years (minimum 2 years)
– Fluent Finnish or English language skills
– Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
– Experience with CNC operation
– Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

It is an advantage (not necessary) if you have a suitable training for the position (e.g. training in machinist, metalwork or mechanical engineering).
