Senior Technology Architect Telecom Systems

Our client Infosys is seeking an experienced Senior Technology Architect to work with enterprise applications within the telecom industry. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in enterprise application architecture, backend development, operational excellence, and 24/7 production environments.

Key Responsibilities

– Lead the architectural design, development, and optimization of enterprisegrade telecom applications.

– Work handson with Java technologies including Spring Batch, JSP, Hibernate, and support frontend components using HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery.

– Develop and maintain automation, scripts, and integrations using Groovy and XML.

– Oversee database operations and performance across MariaDB 10.3 and Microsoft SQL Server.

– Operate and troubleshoot systems running on Ubuntu 20.x and other Linuxbased environments.

– Provide L2/L3 support, ensuring timely resolution of complex technical issues in missioncritical systems.

– Manage and participate in 24×7 operations, including handling major incidents and ensuring service continuity.

– Work within ITIL processes and use ITSM tools such as ServiceNow (or equivalent) for incident, problem, and change management.

– Utilize monitoring and observability tools (APM, logs, alerts) to ensure system reliability, performance, and proactive issue detection.

– Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, guide technical decisionmaking, and contribute to longterm architectural improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

– 10+ years of total industry experience, with extensive handson work in enterprise application development and architecture.

– Strong expertise in Java (Spring Batch, JSP, Hibernate), HTML/JavaScript/jQuery, Groovy, XML, and Linux environments.

– Solid experience with MariaDB, MS SQL, and largescale data operations.

– Proven background in telecom systems, highavailability platforms, and productioncritical environments.

– Experience in L2/L3 support, ITILbased operations, and 24/7 service models.

– Strong understanding of monitoring, observability, and incident management practices.

– Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a hybrid, international environment.

This is a fixedterm (approx. 9 months project) fulltime position based in Helsinki, Finland (hybrid), starting as soon as possible.
