Marine Engine Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced Marine Engine Mechanic to join a professional service company specializing in large marine diesel engines.This role is ideal for a hands-on specialist who is comfortable working on-site, traveling to customer locations, and handling demanding service projects independently.

Key Responsibilities

-Installation, overhaul and servicing of large marine engines.

-Work with engine types such as Wärtsilä 22/32/46 (or equivalent MAN, MaK, Caterpillar etc.)

-Mechanical disassembly and assembly of engine components.

-Troubleshooting and diagnostics in field conditions.

-On-site service work at customer facilities (approx. 50% travel).

-Working according to technical documentation (English).

Requirements

-Minimum 3 years of daily hands-on experience with marine engines.

-Proven experience in engine overhaul and service work.

-Strong mechanical assembly competence.

-Ability to work independently during service projects.

-Experience with troubleshooting.

-Willingness to travel.

-Good English skills.
