Rythmic gymnastics coach

Jätkäsaari Elementary School Gym, Hyväntoivonkatu 5, 00220 Helsinki

Saturdays:
19:00–20:00

We hope the instructor/coach is at least 18 years old. Merits and achievements are not relevant. Personal experience in gymnastics (fitness, apparatus, rhythmic, or team) is desirable.

Salary: €10/hour, increasing with federation training courses.

The training fee is €36/person/month (no additional fees) and covers the coachs salary, gym rental, and social costs.

Training roughly:
Warm-up 15 min
Movements that do not require stretching 15 min
Stretching 15 min
Apparatus techniques (hoop, ball, ribbon, rope, clubs) & games 15 min

Gymnasts participate in 1–2 competitions per season. Funds for coaches training come from the home competition buffet sales.

Notes for applying:The hired coach will receive all the necessary orientation, but will still work completely independently. The key will be delivered at the gym. The founding coach, Sofia Hagalund, participates in coaching only when necessary and otherwise handles administrative tasks.

The groups training in Kauniainen and Jätkäsaari, Helsinki, will likely be moved under the Grankulla Idrottsförening (GrIFK) club. This has been discussed with GrIFK. Currently, the club does not offer gymnastics. However, rhythmic gymnastics was practiced in the club a couple of decades ago.
