Senior Lecturer in Business Information Technology
for a permanent position starting estimated on 1st August 2026. The selected applicant can influence the start time.

Education, guidance, and development tasks are in the fields of business information technology. The composition of the tasks will be agreed upon, considering the skills and competences of the person to be selected. A person is sought, e.g., in competences of understanding of the role of ICT in business support, Applied Artificial Intelligence in Business, ICT services, business-oriented ICT and business processes, data analytics and data engineer, or e.g. UI and UX, innovations, 3D, website development (HTML, WordPress), data processing tools, service business and online shopping techniques. In addition to basic education, the task includes guiding in the theses and participating in research, development, and innovation.

We require an appropriate Master’s degree and relevant work experience in a relevant field. Teaching is mainly done in Finnish, but also in English, which is why we expect fluent Finnish and English. Some teaching tasks may be in the evenings and different campuses of Haaga-Helia. A benefit is considered pedagogical qualifications and good communication and interaction skills.
